Terms and Conditions

fieldhouseequestrian.co.uk and our affiliates provide access to the Field House Equestrian website (the website). Please read these terms and conditions carefully, if you do not agree with them, do not use this website. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights. By using the fieldhouseequestrian.co.uk website, you signify your agreement to be bound by these terms.

We will endeavour to provide uninterrupted, error free access to the website, however this cannot be guaranteed due to the nature of the Internet. Occasionally your access may be suspended or restricted to allow updates, upgrades or repairs, we will try to ensure that this is for the shortest time possible.

Our Contract (Order)The information we seek from you when placing an order is for billing and delivery purposes or for contacting you if we have a query. When placing an order to purchase goods from Field House Equestrian, you will be sent an email confirming receipt of the order and the order details. A contract between you and Field House Equestrian will only take place once the order has been accepted, processed and items despatched, at which point your credit/debit card will be charged.

Jurisdiction

These terms and conditions are governed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. You agree, as do we, to submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Pricing

All products offered for sale by Field House Equestrian are priced in Pounds Sterling and include UK VAT at the prevailing rate where applicable. Any customs or import duties due when your package reaches its destination country will be your responsibility. Occasionally, despite our best endeavours products appear mispriced, however we verify prices as part of our order confirmation email. If the correct price is lower than that promoted we will always charge you the lower amount and send you the product. If the correct price is higher, we will either contact you to advise you and request instructions before despatch or cancel the order and notify you accordingly.

Address

You can either have your goods delivered to your home address or you have the option to enter an alternative delivery address, so that you can have the parcel sent to work or a friend so that you know someone will be there to sign for delivery.

Charges

ENGLAND & WALES STANDARD DELIVERY £6.25
Despatch will be by post or our contracted carriers and usually takes 2-5 working days. Please Note: This is a signatory service.

EXPRESS £15.50
For urgent items to UK Mainland addresses, excluding Northern Scotland (subject to status) Orders must be received by 2pm to receive next day delivery.

UK SATURDAY £17.00
For guaranteed delivery on a Saturday, excluding Northern Scotland (subject to status). Orders must be received by 2pm Friday to receive Saturday delivery.

Quoted Delivery

When you see the quoted delivery symbol products are either heavy or an irregular shape and there may be an additional delivery charge, contact us for a delivery quote.

Please note that our carriers normally require a signature on delivery and they do not make timed deliveries.

Delivery Outside the UK

We are happy to deliver goods to most places outside the UK including BFPO. Unfortunately we cannot deliver to the USA. For a delivery quote, please call customer services on 01677 424231.

The prices in this website include VAT at 17.5% where applicable. To calculate the VAT reduction, divide the retail price by 1.2.

Please note that our carriers normally require a signature on delivery and they do not make timed deliveries.

Time

We aim to despatch goods from our warehouse within 48 hours meaning that delivery should take 2 to 5 working days. Occasionally at busy times this may take a little longer. You will be notified by email if it is anticipated that delivery will take longer than our stated time. In exceptional circumstances, please allow 28 days for delivery. We can advise on your delivery if you telephone 01677 424231 for details.

Method

We are pleased to work in partnership with the Royal Mail, Logistics Teesside Ltd and Parcel Force so where ever possible your goods will be sent this way. If an item is particularly heavy or of an irregular shape we will use contracted carriers. Please note that a signature will be required. Should you be out at the time of delivery a card should be left for you to advise that an attempted delivery was made and for you to contact the appropriate depot to rearrange.

Availability

We try to hold stocks of all styles for active products, however occasionally an item will be out of stock, if this is the case we will inform you. All delivery dates are estimates and are subject to availability.

Special Order Items

All items ordered specially such as those sourced outside our usual stock, those with personalisation or custom made body protectors are non-returnable. Cancellation must be made within a week of placing the order and this MUST be done by telephone on 01677 424231

Payment

CREDIT or DEBIT CARD - The fastest way to pay for immediate despatch (stock dependant). We accept all major credit cards (excluding Diners Club Cards). Cards are not debited until goods are despatched.

CHEQUE - Please allow 10 working days for you payment to clear. Cheques should be made payable to Field House Equestrian.

GIFT VOUCHER - only accepted for post orders, we will require the unique voucher number and any additional payment if applicable. Vouchers can only be redeemed via post or in store.

We accept online payments through a secure environment by credit or debit card and transactions are shown in Pounds Sterling. Do not email your card details. No responsibility can be taken for security if you provide your details in this way. Card fraud is illegal and will always lead to prosecution.

Returns

If you return an item to us within 14 days in perfect condition, complete with the original packaging, we will be happy to exchange or refund you with the original price less a 10% restocking charge. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Please note the following cannot be returned or exchanged unless faulty: Personalised and Special order items, DVD's, CD's, Videos, Underwear and Computer software. Personalised and Special order items cannot be cancelled once the order has been processed.

You must make your own arrangements to return goods to us and you will be responsible for the cost of return unless goods are faulty. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage as you are responsible for the returned goods until they arrive in our warehouse.

Fair Wear & Tear Guarantee*

Our products are guaranteed for 12 months from the date of receipt, providing they are used in accordance with the manufacturers recommendations. If we feel it is necessary goods will be returned to the manufacturer for their comments. Please allow 30 days for an exchange or refund in these instances.

This is in addition to your statutory rights.

Hygiene Regulations

Due to the Health and Safety regulations and the hygienic problems involved with the inspection of Footwear and Horse Clothing, we are unable to handle and inspect any item unless it is clean and dry (Health and Safety at Work Act 1974)

Please note: For Hygiene reasons, Underwear is non-returnable.

Customs

Goods ordered from Field House Equestrian for delivery outside the UK may be subject to import duties and taxes, these will be levied once the parcel reaches it's destination country. Any charges for customs must be paid by you, we have no control over these and do not know what they may be as customs policies vary from country to country. Contact your local customs officer for full details and regulations.

WEEE Regulations

The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive is now UK law. The legislation aims to make producers pay for the collection, treatment and recovery of waste electrical equipment. The regulations also mean that suppliers of equipment like high street shops and internet retailers must allow consumers to return their waste equipment free of charge.

The amount of WEEE we throw away is increasing by around 5% each year, making it the fastest growing waste stream in the UK.

Much of the UK’s WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health.

Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill.

Distributors of new Electric and Electronic Equipment (EEE) have a part to play in reducing the amount of WEEE going into landfill sites.

Field House Equestrian Ltd is obliged under these regulations to offer our customers free take-back of their WEEE on a like-for-like basis when they buy a new Electrical or Electronic product from us.

Under the WEEE Regulations, all new electrical goods should now be marked with the crossed-out wheeled bin symbol shown below:

Goods are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal household waste so that they can be recycled.

Website Access

Your Shopping Account

When using the website, you are responsible for ensuring that your account details and passwords remain confidential and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities occurring under your account and password. If you believe this information has become known to someone else or that your account is being misused contact us immediately.

When registering your details ensure that the information you provide us with is complete and correct and that you advise us as soon as possible should this change or you wish your details removed.

Field House Equestrian reserves the right to edit or remove content, refuse access to the website or cancel orders at our discretion. If we cancel an order, it will be without charge to you and you will be notified immediately. Field House Equestrian does not charge for items until they are ready to despatch.

Please Note: We are unable to add or amend orders after you press the Order Now button.

The contents of the website may not be copied, reproduced, duplicated, sold, downloaded or distributed by any means to third parties without our express written consent.

You may copy or print details for the sole purpose of using the website while connected to the Internet.

You must not use the website in any way that causes, or is likely to cause the website or access to it to be interrupted, damaged or impaired in any way.

You must not use the website for fraudulent purposes, spamming or any unlawful activity.

Liability

The information contained in the website is for information purposes. Field House Equestrian is not providing any recommendations or endorsements to any product or services promoted on the website. The material on the website does not constitute advice and you should not use the information on the website to make any decisions or take any action.

We endeavour to provide accurate descriptions as provided by the manufacturer or our staff where a manufacturer description is not available. We try to supply images that apply to the products but these are indicative only and we cannot guarantee the likeness.
